TROUBLE-SHOOTING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC MOTORS BASED ON MODEL Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2155328 C1

FIELD: electrical machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: system is intended for trouble- shooting, testing and prediction of requirements for maintenance of electric motors. System incorporates computer connected to transmitters that continuously send information on input voltage and current and number of revolutions per minute of shaft of motor in real time. System and operational procedure employ algorithm of experimental modeling with many variables to generate mathematical description of motor. Algorithm compares modeled result with that obtained as result of measurements and evaluates comparison proceeding from remainder which is created by subtraction of corresponding signals. Diagnostic supervisor analyses remainder and determines whether motor runs without troubles or functions under some other mode. With detection of coming trouble diagnostic supervisor evaluates variables of motor generated as result of measurements, determines deviation from reference value and works out diagnostics of probable faulty or injured component. Such design of system makes it feasible to correct complications caused by errors of modeling and by both false or missed symptoms of troubles in electric motor. EFFECT: enhanced diagnostic efficiency of proposed system. 27 cl, 8 dwg
