FIELD: technical diagnosing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to predicting the technical condition of electric and hydraulic drives in real time. Continuous signals of currents, voltages and vibration of the drive housing produced by a microprocessor device for a given period of time with the same frequency are measured and recorded, their wavelet decomposition is performed, the coefficients of the direct lines approximating the envelopes of the wavelet coefficients are calculated from the results obtained on characteristic scales, and software for determining the current technical condition and load on the drive is used for analysis, the time trend of the coefficients is analysed by means of stepwise neural network extrapolation implemented using a hierarchical neural network with flexible feedback configured for short-term and long-term prediction of the development of electrical defects and hydraulic drives.

EFFECT: determining the current technical condition and the external load on the drive, searching for faults that have occurred, as well as predicting the time and causes of failures in future periods of operation.
