FIELD: power electronics, stabilization of voltage on high-voltage side of step-down transformer substation. SUBSTANCE: technical objective of invention lies in rise of energy characteristics of substation with preservation of simple design of booster incorporating thyristor converter. This objective is achieved as primary windings of main and booster transformers are connected phase by phase in series and are linked to network. Input of recuperative thyristor converter of amplitude and phase of voltage with intermediate link of constant voltage is connected to secondary winding of main transformer. Switching-over unit changing value of setting signal fed into transmitter of deviation of voltage of load and transmitter of load current which output is linked to controlling input of switching-over unit are inserted.
