Carrier mechanism has two links: frame with horizontal members and vertical support, and bar mounted so as to be secured in three main positions. Hand and foot pedals are attached to bar. Another embodiment has carrier mechanism, hand and foot pedals, device for exerting adjustable load of adjustable value. Carrier mechanism has two links: frame with horizontal members, two vertical supports and frame. Hand and foot pedals are mounted on frame. According to third embodiment, exerciser has carrier mechanism, hand pedals, device for exerting load of adjustable value, and detachable supporting belt. Carrier mechanism has three links: frame, supporting surface and bar. Frame has two vertical members onto which supporting surface rests. Bar of adjustable length is attached to supporting surface. According to forth embodiment, exerciser has carrier mechanism, hand pedals, and device for exerting load of adjustable value. Carrier mechanism has two links: bar and device for fastening carrier mechanism to swimming pool edge, wall or cross-piece. Such construction allows intervertebral joints to be worked within the whole range of their mobility in most favorable and natural positions of spine.
