FIELD: manufacture of castings with directional and monocrystalline structure from nickel alloys, for example working blades and nozzle vanes of gas-turbine engines and gas-turbine plants. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing in cavity of casting mold monocrystalline hard-to-melt seed of nickel base alloy having liquidus temperature higher than that of casting alloy by 180-200 C; heating casting mold with seed until temperature lower than liquidus temperature of alloy of dummy bar by 20-100 C; pouring melt into casting mold and simultaneously moving mold from heating zone to cooling zone with maximally possible speed until seed achieves liquidus temperature; then realizing motion of mold with technologically suitable speed; interrupting pouring of melt when crystallization front achieves half of casting height. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of process, less loss of macrostructure yield due to elimination of complete melting of seed at maximum values of working temperature. 3 cl, 3 ex
