FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: plastisol composition contains, wt %: vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer having Fickentcher constant 40-80 (DIN 53726) and containing 5-20 wt % vinyl acetate units, 5-60; plasticizer, 5-65; adhesive agent, 0.01-5; filler, up to 40; and special additives, if necessary. Proportions of indicated ingredients are such as to provide integrated dielectric loss coefficient (DIN 53440, part 3) for gelatinized plastisol coatings on steel sheets be equal to 0.104-0.128 for coating weight 50% at 200 Hz. Even at low polymer-to-plasticizer ratios, viscosity of composition is low enough to enable formation of air-free extruded plastisol compositions. Such compositions are stable on storage and easily gelate. High vinyl acetate contents in polymer do not prevent coatings from being good silencers.
