FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of diisononyl terephthalate (DINT) as a plasticiser for increasing low-temperature flexibility and/or for enhancing permanence of polyvinyl chloride compositions for thermoplastic uses. Also described is a plastic article containing a thermoplastic composition produced by thermoplastic processing, where glass transition temperature of polyvinyl chloride composition is -30 °C.
EFFECT: providing a plasticiser, having high permanence with corresponding final use and therefore with low tendency to migration and volatility, as well as good low-temperature elasticity of cable coatings and sheaths, that is, preservation of flexibility even at low temperature and absence of brittleness.
