FIELD: mining, particularly, underground drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: downhole motor consists of body accommodating rotor with spiral grooves. Body has chambers for pressure pumping of working agent. Secured in several grooves are sealing members spring-loaded to side of side chamber wall profile. Accessories of sealing members includes a row of rigid plates connected with rigid members in longitudinal direction. Plates grooves from back side to form hinge joint. Installed in body longitudinal grooves are seals whose lugs are directed in compliance with rotor rotation direction. Working agent passes along motor axis through chambers to make rotor rotate. EFFECT: higher operate reliability and prolonged service life of downhole motor. 3 dwg
