FIELD: helicopter units transmitting energy from power plant for main rotor, to hydraulically-operated clutch, in particular which is used for connection of main rotor with and disconnection of it from transmission. SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch includes axially immovable part which is rigidly connected with shaft, movable part connected with shaft for axial displacement, return springs, hydraulic cylinder with piston connected with movable part of clutch whose cavity is communicated with pressure main of hydraulic system through control spool valve. Clutch is provided with drainage valve communicating the pressure main of hydraulic system with atmosphere, power supply shaft is connected with movable part of clutch for free turn in case of change of direction of power transmission within fixed angle ensuring open position of drainage valve and consequently disengagement of jaw clutch. Power supply shaft is connected with movable part of jaw clutch by splined joint with cut teeth in accordance with rated angle of their free turn; drainage valve is made in form of plug rigidly secured in end section of this shaft and provided with drainage opening communicated with atmosphere. EFFECT: possibility of automatic disconnection of main rotor transmission in case of change of direction of power transmission, at stoppage of engine, for example. 2 cl, 4 dwg
