FIELD: hydraulic construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to hydraulically filled bank protection structures. Wave suppressor has hydraulically field structure of earth material and wave suppressing members made in the form of horizontal perforated hollow bars with toroidal drift catchers fitted over them. Wave suppressing members are installed in parallel to bank line in the form of triangle prism on pneumatic shuttering under covering of bank esplanade higher and below water basin surface. Created in body of hydraulically field structure is zone of incomplete water saturation. This is done by pumping out water from horizontal hollow perforated bars. After accumulation of drift-forming earth material on pressure slope of hydraulically field structure, created in its body is zone of complete water saturation by way of delivering water into horizontal hollow perforated bars. Wave suppressing members are displaced towards surface of pressure slope by pumping air into pneumatic shuttering. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
