FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting equally spaced parallel slits in flat die halves billets, with slits being inclined relative to plane of billets; turning billets twice in their plane through 120 deg while cutting similar slits at each turning cycle. Relief surface produced by mentioned machining process has periodically repeated three-sided pyramids with similar slots between them. Surface of such pattern allows optimum parameters of foundation to be selected. EFFECT: simplified method and increased efficiency. 2 dwg
