FIELD: beekeeping; apiary equipment.

SUBSTANCE: embossed surface of press-mould for production of foundation is formed by teeth of similar thickness plates with saw-like contour. Plates are assembled into pack to make tops of teeth of each following plate being continuation of tooth spaces of preceding plate. Plates are assembled into pack of 2.6 to 3.6 mm thick. Dihedral angles of symmetrical V-shaped cutouts are equal to 120^oC. Lines of intersection of faces of said cutouts form angle of 54-55^o with plane of plate, and pitch between V-shaped cutouts or teeth is equal to double thickness of plate. Invention makes it possible to make parameters of embossed surface close to parameters of honeycombs built by bees in nature.

EFFECT: provision of foundations of high quality.
