FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: neutral substances are isolated from sulfate soap by extraction with hydrocarbon solvent (gasoline) at 30-45 C in presence of water and demulsifier (low-molecular alcohol), while mixture is exposed to vibratory action in resonance mode. To completely isolate phytosterol for its further utilization, soap is reextracted on raising temperature to 45-65 C and hydrocarbon solvent is distilled off from extract solution to give solid residue. EFFECT: reduced operation time and power consumption, and increased recovery of phytosterol. 2 cl, 3 dwg
