FIELD: thermal engineering; gas regenerating machines using forward and reverse Stirling cycles. SUBSTANCE: off-line heat-and-power generating plant is meant to supply stationary and mobile loads. Stirling engine 1 produces useful energy in the course of its running which is converted into electricity by means of electric generator 4. Cooling system 10 is provided to cool down engine 1. System 10 coolant gives off heat upon cooling down to ambient temperature in heat exchanger 11 which is used by Stirling heat pump 6 for heating condensate in line 18. Then coolant whose temperature is reduced below ambient is passed to cooler 3 of engine 1 through intermediate heat insulated cavity 12. Amount of air passed through feed line 14 is controlled by valve 16. Waste gases go first through discharge line 17 to steam generator and then to heat exchanger wherein they heat air before its admission to combustion chamber 2. Return condensate is preheated in heat exchanger of load 7 and effectively converted to high-pressure saturated steam in steam generator 5. EFFECT: improved efficiency and environmental friendliness of engine and plant. 1 dwg
