FIELD: construction engineering; repair of pipe lines in oil and industry; farming; heating systems; aircraft manufacture and shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: method consists in making tape spiral by winding it on mandrel at rate of motion of woven filler from 0.007 to 0.03 m/s at tension of 250 to 700 kgf and heating temperature of binder from 120 to 150 C; spiral consists of several layers; blank is subjected to hardening or tape is introduced between layers or thermoshrinkable filler is applied on one surface and is removed afterwards. To enhanced effect of form memory of tape, provision is made for introduction of unimpregnated (dry) layers of filler. Tape is wound on pipe line at stage-by-stage and layer-by-layer bonding of turns of spiral followed by layer-by-layer pressing of turns on pipe line and additional heating for obtaining bandage. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipe line. 5 cl, 41 dwg
