REST-TRIPOD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: supporting equipment used in geodesy. SUBSTANCE: rest-tripod has head with three side faces and three collapsible legs. Head has central through hole for receiving working instrument normally used in geodesy. Collapsible legs are mounted on head side faces by means of screws for rotation about them and sliding over side faces of head with following fixing of legs in required position by means of these screws. One apex of head is beveled so as to form face with through opening for receiving bolt for fixing working instrument in required position. Rest-tripod may be manufactured from aluminum or polymeric materials. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 cl, 4 dwg
