Invention involves method of assay of ability of snake venom to inhibit platelet aggregation, method of purification of inhibitor of platelet activity from different snake venom samples, its characterization and truncated form containing modified lysine residue that inhibits specifically binding fibrinogen or von Willebrand factor with GPIIb-IIIa.
