FIELD: materials handling; loose materials transportation. SUBSTANCE: proposed screw feeder has housing with charging chamber, screw with shaft installed in housing and coupled with drive, mixing chamber with flexible shell connected with housing. Tray is installed in charging chamber for turning around its axle. Working surface of tray is designed for delivering loose material in direction of rotation of screw. Lock and lip are also provided. Working surface and lip are arranged at different sides of tray axle connected with vibrator and connected also by means of flexible tie lock, with charging chamber. Screw feeder can be furnished with guide ribs arranged along the length of generatrix of housing inner surface, and with cylinder made of metal scale members secured inside flexible shell, and spring-loaded graphite ring designed for sealing screw shaft.
