FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is composition for protective coating with higher adhesion and corrosion resistance of coatings on rust surface. Said composition relates to polymeric compositions based on chlorosulfonated polyethylene for protection of metal structures where modifying agents are used. Said composition includes chlorosulfonated polyethylene, liquid butadiene carboxy-containing rubber, toluene, and modifying additive such as agidol-2(2,6-di-tertbytyl-di- 4-methylphenol), ratios of component being as follows, wt parts: chlorosulfonated polyethylene, 13.0-15.0; liquid butadiene carboxy-containing rubber, 54.5-64.5; toluene, 54.5-65.5; and agidol-2-(2,6-di-tert-butyl-di-4- methylphenol), 0.7-1.2.
