FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has implantable coil having current rectifier and light source, power supply unit, high frequency oscillator, external inductor having high frequency electromagnetic field emitter and pulse burst former with sweep generator which is started by means of pulse burst synchronizing trigger unit. Method involves implanting high inductance coil in the area of equator. Currents are invoked in the coil as a result of external inductor influence. The action is synchronized with pulsating wave system. Electric currents are additionally excited in the coil due to high frequency electromagnetic field to 200 kHz additionally applied. The currents are modulated as pulse bursts. Each burst pulse frequency is supported in sweeping mode from 20 to 50 Hz under voltage not exceeding 15 V. Light action is applied in visible and infrared wavelength range to 10 mW power in equatorial region or in the area of central fossa projection on the sclera. Session duration does not exceed 30 min. The total course is not longer than 15 sessions in daily mode. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 7 cl, 4 dwg
