FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing optic nerve and optic tract projections on the temporal and occipital head zones to electromagnetic field pulses correlated with common carotid artery pulsogram. Additional photostimulation of one of retinal hemispheres is carried out with visible bandwidth pulses during 40 min long session. The number of sessions is 10 in a course. The course is to be repeated in 3-6 months. Photostimulation matches in phase the moment a blood pulsation wave passes through the optic artery. Form and polarity of magnetic pulses is determined by excitation wave invoked due to photostimulation of the optic nerve and by local currents direction on its front. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and safety of treatment; reduced risk of adverse side effects. 1 dwg
