FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing and supporting handle rigidly mounted inside casing. Wrist loading and forearm moving mechanism positioned within casing has tie-rod with handle, pin for restricting axial displacement of tie-rod, spring, mounted on tie-rod between support and supporting plate provided with threaded opening for receiving adjusting screw. Opening is made in casing in opposed relation to adjusting screw. Spring-loaded catch is positioned in slot in mid portion of tie-rod. Ratchet wheel and retaining catch are positioned in spring-loaded catch displacement zone. Retaining catch is pivotally fixed and spring-biased relative to pole. End of retaining catch free from attachment to ratchet wheel is connected to button. Two collars are mounted on ratchet wheel shaft at its both sides. Flexible tie-rod is attached with its one end to collars. Hook-shaped shoulder retainer is secured to other end of flexible tie-rod. Spring-biased latch is mounted on tie-rod protrusion. Impeller of loading counter is positioned in tie-rod axial displacement zone. Belts fixed on casing are adapted for retaining of limb to be worked out. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for active-passive exercising of motion of elbow joint and wrist finger interphalangeal articulations in different directions. 1 dwg
