SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic winch has drum, rotary-action pneumatic motor, reduction gear, clutch connecting reduction gear with drum, and double-acting pneumatic cylinder. Rod space of pneumatic cylinder communicates with input of pneumatic motor through corresponding main line, and piston space, through corresponding main lines and valves. Translationally moving member of pneumatic cylinder is connected with drum by means of movement transformation mechanism and overrunning clutch including ratchet wheel mounted on drum and pawl installed on movement transformation mechanism. Longitudinal axes of pneumatic cylinder and drum are intersecting straight lines. Movement transformation mechanism is made lever-type. Reduction gear can be furnished with self-braking worm gearing.
