FIELD: pipe laying. SUBSTANCE: working and receiving pits are developed. A pipe with open front end is immersed into soil. Impact load i s applied to the back end of the pipe. Then the pipe is cleaned up of the soil by moving soil taker with pneumatic/impact drive through its internal surface. Prior to pipe laying a cable is laid down along design axis of the pipeline. Cable end is fixed to the hoist placed in receiving pit. Static load is applied to back end of the pipe by stressing the cable prior to pipe immersion. Static load is applied by prestressing the cable concurrently to the soil taker prior to cleaning up the pipe from soil. EFFECT: power consumption. 2 cl, 2 dwg
