FIELD: chemical treatment of surface of aluminum and aluminum-base alloys. SUBSTANCE: composition is designed for removal of corrosion products from parts made of aluminum and aluminum-base alloys. It contains, g/l: phosphoric acid 120-200, chromium oxide 40-80; silicon dioxide 250-300; zinc nitrate 20-50; trisodium phosphate 0.5-3.0; the balance (up to liter), water. Paste is universal and provides for full removal of corrosion products without affecting the base metal, inhibits development of exfoliation and intercrystalline corrosion, and forms thin chemically inert films on treated surface, and increases adhesion of paint to coatings, if any. Paste is technologically effective and suitable for treatment of vertical and inclined surfaces, and does not affect adjacent parts of treated articles. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl, 1 ex
