TECHNIQUE TO DRIVE DIRECTIONALLY INCLINED BOREHOLES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry, driving of directionally inclined and horizontal boreholes. SUBSTANCE: proposal is conducted by way of drilling of trajectory of shaft of borehole in various vertical planes. In this case point of cutting for exit to final section of drilling is found in advance, then section of trajectory to final point of cutting on one vertical plane and then section of trajectory after final point of cutting in another vertical plane. Finally sections of trajectory are aligned along straight line whose length is chosen from requirement of mounting of charged drill pipes. EFFECT: provision for precision driving of borehole when location of final section of shaft and hole head are specified. 4 dwg
