FIELD: heating equipment. SUBSTANCE: modular member with housing is assembled into punching mold, thus producing working housings, which receive end members of articles into centers of sections without threads. Then, method involves mounting said working housings in sequential order in cutting mechanism on rest using production line with intermediate supply. Pair of hydraulic cylindrical s of cutting mechanism inserts cutting surfaces into sections, thus cutting end members and pushing them through holes. Working housing, which is produced in this way, carries steel frame pipes in its sections. Then, housings enter another mechanism of production line in order to cut threads in sections. This results in possibility to eliminate welding process. EFFECT: decreased cost, increased safety. 4 cl, 13 dwg
