METHOD OF LOADING AND UNLOADING OF HEAVY-WEIGHT CONTAINERS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method vehicle 2 is placed at trestle, detachable ramps are placed by parts on free surface of vehicle platform body by means of truck loader. Ramps are used to move truck loader from trestle onto vehicle platform body, turning of truck loader and its driving into container. First detachable ramp 9 is placed on part of vehicle platform body adjacent to trestle, then second detachable ramp 10 is installed with fixing on trestle and overlapping the edge of first detachable ramp 9. With truck loader moving along laid ramps, additional detachable ramp or ramps 11 are placed on left part of surface of vehicle platform body. Detachable ramps are laid on vehicle platform body with levelling up relative to floor of heavy weight container. Then loading or unloading of containers 3 is carried out directly on vehicle platform body with all load handling operations performed by truck loader. Working surface of detachable ramps is chosen to provide best adhesion with truck loader wheels. EFFECT: improved reliability and efficiency. 5 dwg
