FIELD: sweet water extraction from atmospheric air. SUBSTANCE: calculations have been made for unit capable of producing 2 cu. m of water a day that will fully satisfy water demands of small house with plot of land. Unit has condenser chamber communicating with air inlet and outlet. Condenser chamber is either immersed in water or buried in ground where temperature is independent of season of year. Atmospheric air stream is forced to condenser chamber due to solar or wind energy. Condenser chamber has heat insulation that isolates it from air inlet and outlet thereby enabling maintenance of desired temperature difference. EFFECT: increased service life of unit, minimized cost of sweet water production.
