FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed to produce fresh water from atmospheric air. Proposed device comprises compressed air source connected via control valve to inlet of Rank-Hirsch vortex tube. From "hot" and "cold" outputs of vortex tube air flows are separately supplied through straight-run valves to inlet branch pipes of shell-and-tube heat exchanger-condenser. Cold air flow passes through internal tubes of condenser, and hot flow wash tubes in annular space, causing condensation on them. Exhaust air flows freely exit through outlet nozzles into atmosphere. Accumulating water-condensate is removed from condenser through additional branch pipe in its bottom part. Besides, there are additional valves for supplying atmospheric air directly from the compressed air source to the condenser inlet pipes, which creates the optimum operating mode.
EFFECT: device for water production from air is proposed.
