SUBSTANCE: hydrodynamic force R acting on wing 2 makes the latter move over circular orbit 3; wing axle 1 is perpendicular to direction of fluid flow A in which it is placed; longitudinal axis of wing 2 is parallel to axle 1; with wing 2 moving over arc of circular orbit 3 facing fluid flow A, angle of incidence (α) of wing 2 is maintained constant at one sign; when wing 2 moves over opposite arc of circular orbit 3, sign of constant angle of incidence (α) of wing 2 is reversed and set to zero on arc of circular orbit 3 where wing 2 opposes movement of fluid flow A and on arc of circular orbit 3 where wing 2 moves unidirectionally with flow A; unit implementing proposed method has fixed axle 1 placed in fluid flow A perpendicular to its flow direction and wing 2 whose longitudinal axis 00 is parallel to mentioned fixed axle 1 hinged to mentioned wing by means of at least one pin 4; wing 2 is provided with device controlling its angle of incidence in the form of wing-shaped member 5 that has its respective operating mechanism 6 for controlling its angular position with respect to wing 2 and for maintaining following angles of incidence (α) of wing 2: constant angle of one sign when wing moves over arc of circular orbit 3 facing fluid flow A; angle of reversed sign when it moves over opposite arc; zero angle when wing 2 moves over from one arc to other.
