FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of amount of water in water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: water meter has case, measurement space where impeller is mounted, reduction gear of counting mechanism, rolling counter and filter with feeding nozzle. Characteristic feature of proposed water meter lies in presence of helical grooves directed longitudinally from inlet to outlet and made in internal surface of feeding nozzle. Helical grooves are connected to annular groove made in internal surface of feeding nozzle after inlet. EFFECT: enhance functional reliability of water meter thanks to additional cleaning of water with use of centrifugal forces. 3 dwg
