FIELD: transport engineering; automobile power units. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, calcium oxide is used as oxidized component, and carbon dioxide is used as oxidizing component. In process of chemical reaction these components form calcium carbonate with simultaneous liberation of considerable amount of heat which is converted into mechanical energy by engine with external heat supply. Calcium carbonate, thus formed, is subjected to thermal decomposition into initial components by means of ecologically clean energy source.
