FIELD: heat-power engineering for industrial and domestic heating plants. SUBSTANCE: furnace includes combustion chamber and after-burner chamber divided by vertical partition, fire grates of combustion chamber and after-burner chamber mounted at one level horizontally. Vertical partition is mounted at spaced relation to fire grates, thus forming passage between its lower end face and fire grates for communication between full volume of combustion chamber and after-burner chamber. Length of fire gate of after-burner chamber does bot exceed amount of clearance. Vertical partition is provided with curtain which is movable in vertical plane for adjusting its position relative to lower end face of vertical partition. Curtain is mounted on side of combustion chamber. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency; extended functional capabilities due to optimal combustion control; enhanced stability of combustion, sawdust inclusive. 3 cl, 2 dwg
