FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in vehicles furnished with hydraulic or pneumatic brake systems in which violation of sealing of one of brake circuits can occur. Proposed system uses electromagnetic valves as safety devices. Each valve has spring-loaded piston installed in housing for opening and closing housing inlet and outlet holes communicating with pipelines from sides of master and slave brake cylinders, respectively, and spring-loaded mechanical lock. Piston rod is essentially a core of electromagnet whose winding is connected to storage battery through brake pedal contact and auxiliary contact. One of contact elements of auxiliary contact is mounted of housing, and the other, on end of piston rod. Contact elements are spaced to provide opening and closing of contact when brakes are applied if working medium transmission line to slave cylinder is not damaged and if trouble occurs in this line, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 cl, 4 dwg
