FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile steering systems and can be used for decreasing effort on steering wheel at maneuvering at slow speeds and turning of steering wheel when automobile is at rest. Steering electric servo has steering wheel torque sensor, automobile speed sensor, electric motor mechanically coupled with steering wheel and containing toothed stator with winding and toothed rotor without winding, electric motor rotor position pickup and electric motor control unit. Electric motor is three-phase machine with number of teeth on stator equal to 12, and on rotor, equal to 8. Magnetic system of electric motor is made with relative slanting of rotor and stator teeth through β = (0,075...0,15)t2. Width of stator tooth point in air gap is bz1= (0,31...0,35)t2, and that of rotor, is bz2= (0,41...0,44)t2 where t2 is rotor tooth pitch.
