SUBSTANCE: invention relates to employment of alkoxysilicate sulfur-containing compounds as additives for fuel compositions, major amounts of which is constituted by gasoline temperature range hydrocarbons. Invention, in particular proposes compounds of general formula I: R1-S-(R2-O)x-(R3-O)y-H (I), in which R1 is hydrogen, C1-C20-alkyl, C2-C20-acyl, C6-C20-aryl, and polyoxyalkylene alcohol residue of formula H-(O-R4)z-, wherein R4 are independently selected from C2-C20-alkyls, and z = 1-50; R2 and R3 are independently selected from C2-C20-alkyls; x = 0-10; y = 1-50.
