FIELD: fishery. SUBSTANCE: method involves discharging fish by sectioned baffle positioned in upstream water layers at an angle to water flow. Sectioned baffle is positioned in hydrodynamic gap between spillway and transit flows or in upstream water flow forward of water intake for directing fish into transit flow. Each section of baffle has plate fixed on frame for regulating angle of inclination to vertical plane for preventing flow from hydrodynamic breaking away in lower edge of baffle. Frame has positive buoyancy. Method provides creating conditions approximating natural living conditions for young fish. EFFECT: simplified low-price method and increased efficiency. 2 dwg
