FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has pump and mixer connected via pipeline, and saturation column. Mixer is positioned in mixing chamber. Grid and concave plate are disposed in lower part of mixing chamber. The latter is mounted in upper part of saturation column and is communicated with saturation column gas space. Two perforated partition walls are set in horizontal position one above the other in mid portion of saturation column, and bubbler is positioned in its lower part. Apparatus provides dissolving of carbon dioxide in beverage, such as mineral water, to maximum extent and intensifies beverage saturation with carbon dioxide due to increased mass exchange surface between gas and liquid phases in saturation column.
