FIELD: automobile, aviation and cosmic industries. SUBSTANCE: described is indicating penetrant for capillary defectoscopy comprising organic colorant and indicating liquid carrier. Colorant includes fat- soluble deep red colorants based on product of combination of dinitrated metaaminoazoxylol with betanaphthol, and carrier is working fluid which is by- product of deep hydrogenation of kerosene fraction having flash temperature of 80-86. Ratios of components are as follows, wt.parts: working fluid, 100; deep red colorant, 0.5-0.8 and deep red colorant 5 C, 0.5-0.8. EFFECT: higher level of sensitivity of the indicating penetrant.
