PROCESS OF SINKING AND RUNNING OF HORIZONTAL WELL Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: exploitation of hydrocarbon fields with use of horizontal wells, production of oil and gas from deposits located at considerable distance from well-head. SUBSTANCE: process is realized by drilling and consolidation of vertical section of shaft, by drilling and consolidation of obliquely directed section of shaft and horizontal section of well shaft, by drilling and consolidation of vertical, obliquely directed and horizontal sections of second well at layout distance from well-head which is connected to horizontal section of first well forming column intercommunicating two well-heads, by fitting of column with at least one packer installed in clearance at depth of anticipated flooding outline. Running of horizontal section of well is started after completion of fitting of both well-heads, perforation and bringing of well to production. When flooding outline approaches point of installation of packer well clearance of running column is shut off in interval of installation of packer, well-head located at side opposite to direction of movement of flooding outline is used to inject liquid and gaseous agent to maintain seam pressure and opposite well-head is employed for production of hydrocarbons. One of well-heads can be used to conduct technological geophysical investigations in process of production of hydrocarbons from opposite well-head. On termination of running of given element of deposit perforation holes of operational column are sealed and well is employed in the capacity of pipe-line. EFFECT: increased efficiency of exploitation of deposits distant or difficult for installation of drilling and production equipment, exploitation of sea fields. 4 cl, 6 dwg
