FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: IGMAS structure includes a special space system for real-time monitoring of asteroid and comet hazard. The IGMAS consists of orbital, aerial and ground-based segments. The IGMAS is designed as a system which ensures continuous incoming of real-time forecast monitoring information on the occurrence of natural and manmade disasters on a global scale, as well as timely detection of asteroid and comet hazard and availability of such information to a wide range of consumers.
EFFECT: facilitating warning based on forecasting natural and manmade disasters, including asteroid and comet hazard, efficient navigation and telecommunication for consumers world wide, particularly in the interest of conducting activities to mitigate consequences of natural and manmade emergency situations, design and optimisation of a system of transportation corridors.
