FIELD: horticulture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is adapted for manual gathering of high-growing fruits, preferably apples, by detaching fruits from tree branches and has fruit gathering hopper, toothed grip and pole receiving sleeve connected to hopper through pivot joint with position retainer. Grip is made arc-shaped to provide reliable gripping of fruit stems independently of position of fruit and is fixed above hopper inlet window. Tooth are arranged along arc of grip and directed perpendicular to arc plane and in parallel with plane of hopper inlet window. During operation of apparatus, fruit stem is inserted between adjacent teeth of upper part or one of side walls of grip. EFFECT: increased maneuverability in the process of gathering fruits at any angle of inclination of pole. 2 dwg
