FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing pletismograms taken from general carotid and supraorbital and temporal arteries. Pletismogram synchronization with electrocardiogram signal is carried out in turn. Relative shift is determined of general carotid artery with respect to pletismograms of supraorbital and temporal arteries. The shift between the general carotid artery and supraorbital one being less than 20 or greater than 60 ms, blood circulation in exterior carotid and orbital artery beds is considered to be in disorder. The shift between the general carotid artery and the temporal one less than 10 and greater than 40 ms, blood circulation in exterior carotid artery bed is considered to be in disorder.
