FIELD: instrumentation engineering, particularly, spring drives with several preliminarily stressed roll springs over their entire length; applicable in drives of vehicles as spring drive for toys, clockwork drives and other mechanism. SUBSTANCE: spring-actuated accumulator of mechanical energy has idle and working drums with roll spring secured to them and wound on them in opposite sides, and prestressed over its entire length. Design is distinguished by the fact that installed on working shaft for rotation is holder accommodating additionally introduced roll spring whose one end is secured to working drum and its other end is secured to holder. Installed on holder is gear meshed with gear installed on shaft with idle drum.
