METHOD OF REGENERATION OF METHANOL FROM MINERALIZED AQUEOUS SOLUTION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: methods of preparation and dihumidification of hydrocarbon gases (natural gas and oil gas); separation of methanol from stratal water at high content of salts; preparation of gas for transportation. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preheating of base solution, evaporation of water-and-methanol mixture from this solution, extraction of salt sediment followed by rectification of water-and-methanol mixture into methanol and water; evaporation of water-and-methanol mixture is effected through mixing preheated liquid base solution with part of vapor of water-and-methanol mixture which is additional heated and recirculated; main part of vapor of water-and-methanol mixture is cooled and is directed for rectification. Additional heating of part of vapor of water-and-methanol mixture is effected by means of warm vapor obtained from bottom product of rectification. Recirculation of heated vapor of water-and-methanol mixture is ensured by recirculation of liquid phase of salt residue. Cooling of main part of vapor of water-and-methanol mixture is effected through heat exchange with bottom product of rectification (aqueous solution) and base solution. Concentration of main part of vapor of water-and-methanol mixture is maintained through additional of part of top product.
