FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: according to first design version, stud body is made in form of hollow thin-walled flanged bushing made from sheet metal by deep drawing method. Space of bushing is designed for accommodating and fastening of wear-resistant insert. Flange of body has ring part whose periphery part is bent off or rolled through angle exceeding 90°. According to second design version, body is made in form of thin-walled cup with blind bottom. Outer bead forming body flange is found in place where cup wall changes into bottom. EFFECT: reduced weight of stud and its breaking action onto pavement, improved stability and holding in tire. 15 cl, 18 dwg
