FIELD: transport engineering; tyre industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed anti-skid stud has body with support flange accommodating wear-resistant insert made of hard material and projecting through required height. Insert is made in form of truncated cone. Body is made of polymeric material or material on base of high-molecular compounds and with members for spatial orientation along longitudinal axis. Insert is fitted in body by its base, with truncated cone top pointing outwards. Insert is made in form of body with limited number of symmetry planes in longitudinal direction. Stud body support flange made asymmetrical relative to at least one plane passing through longitudinal axis of anti-skid stud is used as member of spatial orientation of body in longitudinal axis. EFFECT: reduced weight of anti-slid stud, provision of different adhesion of tyre in different directions which improves stability and cross-country capability of vehicle. 2 cl, 19 dwg
