FIELD: ventilation of buildings. SUBSTANCE: heating and ventilation system has peripheral foundation supporting exterior walls of building. Room air is heated and circulated under floor near exterior walls. Partition is so connected to foundation that area inside foundation wall is covered at level below floor. Exhaust air is directed to area below partition for contact with lower portion of partition. Foundation and/or base supporting the foundation is airpenetrable along its total length below joint area of foundation member and partition; air escapes through foundation member or supporting material, thus effecting heat exchange between them.
