FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: modular section has at least two side walls made in the form of closed frames including supporting poles with fastening members, and at least one horizontal member connected with side walls through joint with fastening members. Each fastening member has pair of three-dimensional parts having convex surfaces of equal curvature radius. Three-dimensional parts are positioned in the vicinity of poles so that their working surfaces face each other and are separated by distance exceeding thickness of horizontal member, which is placed between working surfaces of three-dimensional parts. Side walls are positioned at angle to horizontal plane so as to form clamping joint between wall and horizontal member at their junction part. Modular section of such construction may be used for manufacture of shelves and wall strips for houses and production premises. EFFECT: simplified construction providing simple and convenient assembling of ready article, enhanced reliability in operation and unique appearance. 2 dwg
